The Omni Tempe Hotel at Arizona State University will connect the campus with downtown Tempe and serve the surrounding community. This $125 million investment is part of a public-private partnership between ASU and the City of Tempe. Its 30,000-square-foot conference center with 330 guest rooms will help revitalize the city with ample conference and meeting space. It will also support ASU’s mission as an educational and research institution that facilitates university-related meetings and public functions.

Groundbreaking on this 16-story hotel at 7 East University Drive began in the summer of 2021, and the design team is targeting LEED Silver certification. Highlighting Tempe’s beautiful cityscape, this space will feature 36,000 square feet of flexible indoor/outdoor meeting space.

The Omni Tempe at ASU vision is to be a gathering place for the mind, body, and soul. There will be tech-free quiet areas and zones for comfort or creative interactions. Unique amenities will include wellness classes and seminars, art immersions, four dining outlets that incorporate local cuisine and craft beers, and a retail shop. There will be also a board room, an event lawn, two ballrooms, a fitness center, and a rooftop pool and bar.

Omni Tempe at ASU is projected for completion in spring 2023.
