Lori Hudson Appointed to Local Federal Reserve Board in Charlotte
Hudson will serve as a director on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond's Charlotte Branch
Charlotte, N.C. (March 1, 2024) – National Gypsum Company is pleased to announce that Lori Hudson, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed to serve as a director on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond’s Charlotte Branch.
“I’m grateful for this opportunity to serve alongside an incredible group of board members and contribute to the Charlotte Branch’s important role in our regional economy,” said Hudson. “It’s an honor to join the Federal Reserve system.”
Hudson joined National Gypsum in 2021 to lead the company's finance, accounting, treasury, tax, financial planning and analysis, and internal controls teams. In 2023, she assumed additional responsibility for the company’s information technology group, where she directs National Gypsum Company’s digital strategy.
Prior to joining National Gypsum, Hudson spent more than 25 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). As a Managing Director, she served companies in the manufacturing, construction and retail businesses, including National Gypsum.
Hudson is also a current board member of the Central Piedmont Community College Foundation and is an active member of the Funder Advisory Committee for the Center for Digital Equity. In the past, she served on the Boards of the Clemson School of Accountancy, The Mary Black Foundation, Oakbrook Preparatory School, Junior Achievement of South Carolina, and Total Ministries.
