National Gypsum has announced its continued sponsorship of DIY Network’s Blog Cabin 2014 at INTEX Expo in Las Vegas. The sponsorship is part of the company’s PURPLE® Evolve Your Walls™ campaign, which launched in May 2013, to increase awareness of the benefits of PURPLE high-performance drywall products among customers. Blog Cabin is an interactive TV series returning for its eighth season, airing from July 28 – Sept. 1.

Blog Cabin 2014, a completely renovated and exclusively designed 1920s lakeside home in Winter Haven, Fla., is featured on six special episodes of the most popular DIY Network shows: Sledgehammer, Kitchen Crashers, Bath Crashers, Mega Dens, Yard Crashers and YardCore. The Bath Crashers episode will focus on a master bathroom makeover and will feature PURPLE® products, including XP® drywall and PermaBase® Cement Board.
National Gypsum has made it easier than ever for consumers who are remodeling or building a new home to learn more about projects involving drywall, including installation tips, shopping lists, room-by-room inspiration and where to buy.
Over the last year, more than 36,000 consumers have visited AskForPurple.com, and the Facebook page has reached more than 10,000 fans. Anitra Mecadon, host of DIY Network’s Mega Dens, also continues as the company’s national spokesperson for PURPLE®.
