CBS Correspondent Leslie Stahl took viewers on a tour of the construction site which is seven stories below the footprints of the World Trade Center buildings. National Gypsum's PURPLE products highlight the scenes.
"Our Hi-Impact®XP® and eXP® Interior Extreme® products were used in some areas, but the primary product is 5/8-inch XP®," said Sales Representative Ralph Marrone.
"Four stories of the underground building were totally flooded by Hurricane Sandy. That was the area shown on 60 Minutes. After the water was pumped out,

everything dried out, and inspected by federal and local agencies, our 5/8-inch XP was installed on the walls and ceilings on all the floors."
